Neil Gonzalez, Esq.

Attorney Neil Gonzalez is the Founding Partner of Gonzalez and Associates and has dedicated his legal career to serving individuals across Florida. Since the beginning of his legal career, he’s built a reputation for his fairness, unwavering advocacy, and compassionate representation of each and every client.

Born and raised in New York, Neil attended Martin Luther High School in Maspeth, New York, before continuing his education at Nassau Community College in Garden City. During these years, he was actively involved in athletics as well, participating in both baseball and wrestling. He later earned his bachelor’s degree from Florida International University and went on to obtain his Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University in 1996. Just one year later, Neil was admitted to the Florida Bar.

Neil’s journey into the legal profession was anything but traditional. Before deciding to pursue his Juris Doctorate, he held successful careers in various industries, including real estate development, automotive insurance appraisal, and business management through operating an auto-body shop & gas station. These experiences gave him valuable real-world experience, shaping his legal approach down the line.

At the age of forty, Neil made the decision to pursue his dream of becoming an attorney. While attending law school, Neil had to balance the demands of his studies, raising four children, and working part-time when he could. Reflecting on that stage of his life, he often says those years were not easy, but the challenges he overcame during that time made everything that followed seem possible. His perseverance, determination, and work ethic continue to be defining characteristics of both his personal and professional life.

As the founder of Gonzalez and Associates, Neil has always believed that clients deserve honest guidance and personalized attention. His diverse professional history allows him to understand the challenges clients face from both legal and practical aspects, helping him curate solutions that are effective and realistic. Throughout his career, he has committed to treating each client with the same level of care he would expect for his own family.

Outside of the office, Neil enjoys spending time with his family and is especially proud of his role as a grandfather. He enjoys supporting his grandchildren in their athletic and extracurricular pursuits. Though his role has evolved over the years, Neil remains actively involved in the firm alongside Alexis and continues to bring the same passion and dedication to the practice of law that inspired him to pursue the profession decades ago.
