About
Attorney Stephanie C. Cura was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and has dedicated her career to advocating for individuals and families navigating personal injury and insurance disputes. With more than 10 years of litigation experience, she brings both depth of knowledge and a compassionate approach to her clients.
Stephanie graduated magna cum laude from Florida International University before earning her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from St. Thomas University School of Law. While in law school, she served as an editor on the St. Thomas Law Review, competed on the Moot Court Team, and was awarded second place for her team’s brief in a national competition. She also received the book award for excellence in legal research and writing.
Before joining Gonzalez & Associates, Stephanie practiced at an AmLaw 100 firm as well as boutique personal injury firms in Miami. These roles gave her a wide range of experience handling complex insurance litigation and personal injury matters, always with a client-first focus and a commitment to achieving meaningful results.
Beyond her legal career, Stephanie has a long history of community involvement. She was deeply engaged with Best Buddies Florida and even founded a local chapter to promote inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Her dedication to leadership and service was recognized early on, when she was named a USA Today All-USA Scholarship Finalist in 2008.
Outside the office, Stephanie values time with her family. She enjoys balancing her professional life with family activities and giving back to the community that has shaped her personal and professional journey.
